What data is processed and why
- Using the calculator. The amounts and countries you pick are processed on the fly to show you the result and are not stored.
- Technical logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data from each visit (IP address, browser, requested page) to serve it and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and operation of the service.
- Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not fingerprint visitors. When you arrive through one of our campaign links, we also add one to a daily counter (source, campaign and page only; no IP address or device data). Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing which content is used.
- Rate alerts. If you sign up, we store your email address, a confirmation token, the subscription status and the sign-up and confirmation dates in our database (Cloudflare D1). The confirmation email is sent through Resend. The address is used only to tell you when a provider changes its fees, and it is never sold or shared. Legal basis: your consent, which you withdraw by unsubscribing; doing so deletes the address.
- Advertising. This site shows Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and identifiers to serve ads, cap how often you see each one, measure performance and prevent fraud, and, if you agree, to personalise them based on your visits to this and other sites. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent through Google's certified tool before they are used for those purposes. Google acts as an independent controller of that data: how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Legal basis: your consent.
- ChatGPT connector. If you use PayoutCost inside ChatGPT, what you type is handled by OpenAI under its own privacy policy; the connector does not send your messages or data to this site. If you open a link to the site from ChatGPT, this policy applies as for any other visit. More on PayoutCost for ChatGPT.
- Emails you send us. If you write to hello@payoutcost.com, your address and message are used only to reply to you.
You can also turn off personalised advertising in Google's ad settings.
Processors and international transfers
The providers that process data on this site's behalf are Cloudflare (hosting, database and analytics) and Resend (email delivery). They, and Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area. When they do, they rely on the safeguards the GDPR provides for, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long data is kept
Calculator amounts are not kept. Rate-alert addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, and unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted periodically. Technical logs are kept by Cloudflare for the limited period its policy sets.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to its processing, ask for it to be restricted or handed to you in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello@payoutcost.com. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local authority.
